Events & Highlights
Memorial Music Sunday, November 1, 2026 – 10:00am – honors the memories of those who have passed on before us. Our Chancel Choir sings inspiring choral music to bring hope and comfort to those in our congregation. This year, the choir will be joined by members of GMChorale to offer a variety of music including Stephen Paulus’s The Road Home, Kevin Siegfried’s Lay Me Low, and Dan Forrest’s Agnus Dei (from Requiem for the Living).
Additionally, the First Congregational Church of Cheshire warmly invites the larger community to gather in the church’s historic sanctuary for this most meaningful service – a time to memorialize and to be renewed through music and worship.
If anyone would like to memorialize or honor someone, please email office@firstcheshire.org
Requests must be received by Monday, October 26 in order for names to be printed in the service program on Memorial Music Sunday.

Welcome Sunday
September 13, 2026 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
We invite our church family, extended family, and friends to join us for the celebration of another beginning of the fall season in our Church on the Green. We begin with one worship service at 10am. Immediately following the service, we process out to the front steps for our annual all-church photograph…and then we proceed to the backyard for our picnic under the shade of the old chestnut tree. We invite our members to reach out and ask friends, neighbors, and family to join us for this special service; that they may experience first-hand what is so special about our congregation.
