Where Kids Can Be Kids—and Faith Can Grow

A Place for Your Family to Grow Together

A welcoming church community where children can make friends,

families can connect, and faith comes to life.

Finding a church where your whole family feels at home can make all the difference.  At First Congregational Church of Cheshire, children and families are an important part of our church community. Whether you’re new to church, returning after some time away, or looking for a community for your growing family, you are welcome here.

Come as You Are. Your Family Has a Place Here!

We know families come in all shapes, sizes, and stages. That’s why we strive to create a welcoming environment where children can be themselves and parents can feel comfortable, connected, and supported.

Sunday Mornings at First Church

Children and families are an important part of our worship community, and we offer opportunities for children to participate and engage.

Our congregation is happy to help your family find your way around, answer questions, and help you get connected.

Sunday Worship is at 10:00 am – all are welcome!

Professionally Staffed Nursery Care

Parents have the opportunity to worship while knowing their little ones are being cared for.

Professional nursery care is offered each Sunday during the 10 am Worship Service.

The Nursery opens 9:45am (15 minutes before service) until 11:15am (15 minutes after service)
  • Two experienced and trained nursery staff members are on duty each Sunday.
  • There are age-appropriate toys and activities.
  • The room is refurbished, clean, and comfortable.
  • There is a secure check-in and check-out process.
  • Because of food allergies, no snacks are permitted, but water is welcomed.

  • Serve others and make a difference
  • Be part of a caring community

And parents have a place to connect, build friendships, and grow alongside their children.
