Organ Demonstration, October 25
We are so fortunate to have our mighty Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ inspire us each and every Sunday during Worship. Its sounds are tonally based on many of the families of instruments you hear when listening to an orchestra giving it ample possibilities for us to experience the most tender amongst them to the most robust! But, have you ever wondered how it works and how this is achieved?
On Sunday, October 25, please join Music Director, Joe D’Eugenio, after Worship from 11:15 – 12:00 in the choir loft for an organ demonstration and “crawl.” If you wish, you can actually crawl into the chambers to view the organ pipes up close and see what makes this instrument unique while supporting our congregational singing and chancel choir.
